Father Pat Casey, OMI, is moving to the Cathedral from Petersburg, wherehe has been stationed for the past three years. Father Pat brings a wealth of life experiences to the job. He was born and raised in a family of nine children in Los Angeles. His parents were both immigrants from Ireland. He served
three years of active duty and three years in the reserves in the Army Medical Corps. He graduated from UCLA in 1972 with degrees in biology and sociology. He joined the Oblates of Mary Immaculate in 1974. He continued his studies at Creighton and the Boston Theological Union. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1980. He served in St. Louis, St. Paul, MN and Chicago before being stationed in the Diocese of Juneau three years ago. Welcome to Father Pat!
